Catholic Diocese coordinates for church bells to ring on Tuesday to commemorate fatal attack in French church.

PRAGUE – Church bells will call out at 3pm Tuesday to honor the memory of the Catholic priest brutally murdered in an attack on a Catholic church in northern France last week.

Church bells in Brno, Plzeň and České Budějovice will call out in the afternoon, the same time as the funeral for Father Jacques Hamel in France.

On July 26 two armed men who had proclaimed affiliation with the terrorist organisation ISIS held hostage the priest, two nuns and two parishioners. The terrorists slit the priest’s throat, killing him, before being shot dead by police.
